Who can use it?

Both ophthalmologists and optometrists can use amniotic membrane in their offices across the US. The membranes are stored at room temperature with a 5-year shelf life and only take a couple minutes to place. After numbing the patient's eye, the graft is placed on the cornea and covered by a soft contact lens to hold it in place. Over the following week, the majority of the tissue is absorbed by the eye and the contact lens is removed.

This is my first time using Amniotic Membrane. What do I need?

If you have never used amniotic membrane before and aren't sure where to start, we can help! First, you'll need the amniotic membrane graft. We have no minimum order quantity and always offer free shipping. With the 5-year shelf life at room temperature, there is also little risk of having grafts go to waste.

You will also need a soft contact lens, anesthetic drops, eye sponges (such as Weck-cel spears), and an eyelid speculum (recommended).
